Marks & Spencer Fashion Australia Launches with David Jones in First-Ever International Fashion Partnership

Marks & Spencer Fashion Australia launches today through an exclusive partnership with David Jones, marking the brand’s first international wholesale agreement in fashion.

The launch brings a curated selection of M&S Womenswear, Menswear, and Lingerie to 24 David Jones stores across the country, including the Sydney and Melbourne flagships. The range is also available online, extending M&S’ reach across the Australian market.

This is the first time Marks & Spencer fashion products will be stocked in physical retail stores across Australia. The move follows the UK retailer’s successful food business expansion in the United States, including a wholesale agreement with Target earlier this year.

The partnership with David Jones is part of M&S International's strategy to create global Omnichannel through franchise and wholesale channels. The company has explained its intention to increase the brand and access through partners created in large areas.

David Jones serves more than five million customers annually in Australia. The dealer will now offer M&S products to the national audience from Perth to Gold Coast. According to Marx and Spencer when brand awareness in Australia reaches more than 50% of the population.
