SPAR UK partner AF Blakemore launches 8% rebate funding scheme in £4.5 million retailer investment programme SPAR UK partner AF Blakemore has revealed another multi-million investment programme which gives up to 8% rebate to retailers. The new programme has been introduced as part of the company's ongoing commitment to drive support to its convenience store retail partners and represents a significant development in retail support throughout the UKFM's network.

Under the Trade Partner Plus programme Blakemore provides stores with tools, systems and specialist services. Its goal is to help independent retailers navigate a convenience market as it continues to change.

It is open to current and new partners. It brings together AF Blakemore’s wholesale arm with its retail operations. It’s a long term approach looking at everything from logistics and layout to planograms and promotions.

The discount schedule can earn retailers 8%, with additional incentives. Such include store plans, planograms, EPOS solutions and bespoke merchandising support. There are digital displays with marketing tools and access to customer insight as well.

Retailers can also apply for rebates of up to £150,000 for store development. The deal comes with discounted digital tools, price-sensitive pricing, and assistance of in-house teams. The idea is to create stronger local stores through collective investment.

The new programme is live throughout AF Blakemore’s distribution area. It is focused on helping stores of various sizes with flexible, scalable retail models and operational capabilities.

SPAR UK partner AF Blakemore is ramping up its investment in independent retail as it throws the weight of the new programme behind a forward-facing benchmark in UK convenience retail.
